DAY 1
Transfer in to a hotel in Sucre. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 2
City tour, visiting the cathedral and church of la Recoleta and its museums, the cemetery, and the Indian Textile museum of ASUR. Afternoon bus trip crossing nice valleys and going up to the highlands, until reaching the famous mining city of Potosi (3 hours).
DAY 3
Visit a mine to see remains of the silver production in the famous Silver Mountain. In the afternoon city tour visiting: the colonial city, the Mint House, colonial churches and the Santa Teresa museum.
DAY 4
Trip crossing branches of the Andes Range with great landscapes, old mines and Indian villages to the town of Uyuni (5 hours). Overnight in hotel.
DAY 5
Trip to Colchani, to see locals producing salt, enter the great white saltflat crossing to "Isla Incahuasi" (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rock and giant cactus. Then north to see the mommies of Coquesa in the foothills of the Tunupa volcano. Return to Uyuni (2 hours), day use of a hotel to take the night train to Oruro (6-7 hours).
DAY 6
Arrival to Oruro and transfer to the bus terminal, bus to La Paz (3 hours).

DAY 1
Trip from La Paz in bus to Oruro (3 hours), then train to Uyuni (6-7 hours), crossing a big portion of the highlands. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 2
Trip to Colchani, to see locals producing salt, enter the great white saltflat crossing to "Isla Incahuasi" (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rock and giant cactus. Then north to see the mommies of Coquesa in the foothills of the Tunupa volcano. Return to Uyuni (2 hours), overnight in hotel.
